STRATEGY AND GOALS:
Lend a Hand is a Tucson-based nonprofit serving local seniors. Their marketing goal was to increase fundraising and raise awareness for their recent classification as a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO), allowing individuals to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on their donation.
After installing Google Analytics and monitoring website user behavior, it was clear that users were attempting to donate but unable to navigate the website. The website's current target audience was seniors looking for services but demographics showed the majority of users were younger Tucsonan's hoping to donate or volunteer.
Lend a Hand's website was re-designed to target donors and volunteers, converted to an e-commerce page to accept donations directly, and optimized to list higher in "tax-deductible charity donation" related searches. Mailchimp and Facebook ad manager were used to create paid fundraising campaigns.
Website re-design launch was timed to coincide with a newspaper article highlighting new QCOs and debuted the nonprofit's new branding.
